You can wear anything you want, but if it doesn’t fit or match up well with what else you’re wearing then we’ll have to take it off before we can move on to the next step in this activity. When you are ready to go outside, open the door and walk across the hall. Make sure that no one is around and then run back into your room and shut the door!

The next step is to put on your shoes. Shoes should be comfortable and appropriate for the weather (or whatever situation). For example: if it’s warm out and there isn’t any snow on the ground then sandals might make sense instead of boots or snow boots!

You’ve got the look down! So, before you head out the door, make sure you brush your teeth and put on some sunglasses. You wouldn’t want to leave home without them. As for shoes, no one is going to match their get dressed activity to their footwear if they have bare feet.

You don’t want your feet to hurt if you end up walking around all day!

This get dressed activity is fun for children of all ages

As a teacher of young children, I have found that this get dressed activity is great for teaching both traditional skills like how to dress themselves and cognitive skills like categorization.

It’s also a great way for parents and kids to bond over something fun, which can be hard when you’re all in the same house all day long.

The other day I was trying to get my son ready for school, and he was having a hard time putting on his shirt. After several minutes of struggling, he finally gave up and asked me to help him. As I was buttoning him up, I realized that the problem wasn’t that he couldn’t do it himself he just didn’t know how.

I hope this post has inspired you to take a look at your child’s wardrobe and see if there are some pieces that could be used for a fun get dressed activity. There are so many different ways to do it and I think it would be great if more parents got creative with their kid’s clothes!
